A spontaneous assignment from the first week of school.
I played the Sly and the Family Stone song “Everybody is a Star,” which is a theme for this year. Then I had the learner create their own star, identifying some thing they love, are good at, or are passionate about. Then they found a place in the room to hang it.
It is colorful and makes the room feel alive.
